The Person-Centered Approach

What to expect...

Going to therapy can feel daunting and scary, and you may feel like you don't know what to expect, or where to begin in seeking help. Don't worry, that is completely normal!

In Person-Centered therapy, you are in total control. You will set the agenda in every session. It's completely your choice what you bring to your sessions, because they are YOURS!

You will be given the opportunity to explore and express your emotions, based on whatever may be troubling you right now. You will be supported by your counsellor to talk about either past or present issues, that are affecting your current state of mind.

You will be invited to reflect on your experiences, emotions, behaviours, values and beliefs, to enhance your self-awareness. It's also about trying to feel more aligned with your true, authentic self, bringing you a greater sense of inner peace and happiness.

You'll be amazed at how you can flourish and bloom into the best version of yourself through counselling, and I would be privileged to be a part of that journey for you!.
